Situation
JB Hunt operates across four distinct business units—each with different margin profiles, customer commitments, and network constraints. Legacy systems couldn't dynamically reflect this complexity, leading to suboptimal dispatch and pricing decisions. The JB Hunt 360 platform was to be the center of the enterprise vision moving forward and lacked a sophisticated, scalable and reliable rules engine to power automated decision-making.
What I Did
- Designed configurable rules engine encoding operational logic

- Architected end-to-end shipping platform that would not only quote/rate Fedex shipments but also all other LTL carriers via Project44 infrastructure.
